The 2016 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S is the second vehicle developed by Mercedes-AMG. It’s a two-seat, rear-drive sports coupe that serves as the company’s flagship performance model.
But to achieve the performance goals they wanted, Mercedes-AMG designed and created a brand new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. This engine is mated to a seven-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission, generating 503Hp, 479 lb-ft of torque, and hitting the 0-60 mph barrier in just 3.0 seconds.
